Get the most out of your technology and IT investment. Now!

  • Are the areas you are currently spending your money on a sensible use of your precious resources?
  • Is the mix of your spending the right mix in terms of value?
  • Are you aware of technology choices that could yield you cost savings or more ‘bang for your buck’?

This is where an experienced IT practitioner can come in. Someone who is aware of technology trends and someone who has the ability to review your current IT spend as a business. A practitioner who will examine each element of your spend, who will review alternatives both in terms of suppliers and service provision and in terms of maximizing the impact of your existing spend. Someone who will guide you in utilizing your spend to achieve more business impact.

Via Consulting recently enabled a client to switch from two existing providers to a single provider utilising a single technology platform. This exercise has resulted in our client moving from two basic customer web portals to a single portal, a more modern and adaptable platform as well as a lower administration overhead. It also has enabled them to use the new platform as a significant sales tool as it is modern and can be branded for a client with ease. The client has a lower annual cost and a more potent business offering with a modest once off setup charge.

Re-evaluating your IT and technology investments does not necessarily mean significant costs but can mean a significant impact on your business’ bottom line.

Consolidation and change are the enabler for business to drive forward and suceed in todays tough business environment. Independent auditors and suppliers are important in this role to help the business to identify and drive the change.

I believe this also Roland. And more importantly the use of independent consultancies with the right skillsets can be a lot more cost effective than businesses imagine. It also helps reassure Boards and external auditors and accountants.

plus I think companies are more open to Change now due to the down turn plus the slew of new technolgies – hard to keep up.

Best of Luck Joe with the new venture plus I reckon you are half way there due to the strong team you have put in place up front.

Richard – sadly I think only forward thinking companies fall into the category you mention re. openess to change. These companies are the ones that will last and prosper methinks.
Thanks a million for the best wishes..

In the current environment more than ever, we need to optimise our efficiencies – both process and cost/spending. I agree that sourcing an IT professional like VIA Consulting could help businesses to do this.

As a small busienss owner, I also belive that sourcing experts in areas such as IT enables entrepreneurs to get on with the important stuff and like innovation and sales.
